The permitted range comes from the product specification. Transit time, season, handling points and recipient determine vehicle, packaging and monitoring.
Risk determines whether temperature-controlled vehicles or qualified packaging systems are used, including conditioning, pack-out, coolant and logger position.
Risk assessment, seasonal evidence, temperature data and where needed pilot shipments confirm whether the design reliably maintains conditions.
Duration, extent, product status and the temperature curve are secured and passed into the agreed assessment and escalation process; logistics does not replace product disposition.
Collection and delivery record shipment status, seal, logger, timestamps and recipient. Acceptance criteria, data access and escalation are verified in a test shipment before routine operation.
A new route, duration, season, carrier, packaging, pack-out or logger configuration is assessed against the qualified state. Change control determines extra monitoring, a test shipment or requalification.
