Wegovy tablets containing semaglutide launched in Germany on 1 September 2026. EMA lists 1.5 mg, 4 mg, 9 mg and 25 mg strengths for adults on prescription.

Warehouse storage conditions

The tablets require no special temperature conditions but must remain in their original packaging to protect them from moisture and light. Warehouse controls, status segregation and FEFO remain essential.

Safe picking of four strengths

Four strengths require clear locations, WMS rules and barcode or Data Matrix verification to prevent selection errors during high-volume picking.

Distribution and availability

Availability should be managed by strength using confirmed demand, replenishment times and risk-based safety stock. Transport routes still require qualification and product protection.
